Designed to Impress: A Luxe Interior With A Glass Garage

Designed for a young male homeowner in Kazakhstan, this 400 square metre home interior is a space for relaxation, socialising with friends, and getting ahead on work at home. Visualised by STUDIO 57, the impressively large living room layout is made streamlined by the implementation of a sunken seating area. One extraordinary focal point of the room is a glass wall that connects to the garage. The glass partition proudly showcases the homeowner’s prized possession: a gleaming blue Porsche. Large outer windows fill the home with natural light, creating a spacious and airy aesthetic with lush green garden views. A luxurious palette of dark materials provides dramatic contrast and plush comfort within.

In the open plan living room, a sunken seating area creates concise zoning. The U-shaped black sofa arrangement draws around a matching black living room rug and a unique modern coffee table design.

The sunken sitting area faces toward a black stone-clad TV wall, which climbs the full height of the double-height void. An impressive living room chandelier drops cubes of bright illumination against the dark, moody backdrop.

An illuminated mantelshelf highlights the texture in the rugged stone wall cladding. An Oda lamp stands nearby, where it lights up the ramped descent into the conversation pit.

An indoor courtyard fills the void beneath the staircase with an abundance of greenery. An assortment of cactus species makes a fabulous, sculptural display.

In the formal dining area, a wooden dining table and modern chairs accommodate up to eight people. A classical sculpture adds a touch of culture to the dining space. A modern floor lamp provides focussed illumination.

A large modern fruit bowl provides a simple dining table centrepiece. Across the room, glass walls place the homeowners blue Porshe on display.

The glass-walled garage is well lit to show off the curves of the luxury vehicle.

A view of the sports car can be appreciated from the dining room, from the sunken seating area, and upon descending the open plan staircase.

A large built-in terrarium buffers the kitchen from the glass wall garage. Luxe grey marble clads the kitchen walls and a central kitchen island. A trio of mini pendant lights complete the kitchen island lighting. Elegantly arched pendants make a more eye-catching display above a dining peninsula.

Modern wooden bar stools seat four people at the dining bar.

A modern home office is quietly tucked away from the social living area.

Enormous windows fill the home workspace with natural light and peaceful views of the green landscape.

A casual snug is furnished with comfortable black couches and a wood burning stove. Indoor plants add uplifting green accents.

Colourful modern art adorns the grey walls.

A tufted black entryway bench smartly furnishes the hallway of the home.

The small console table displays a black Balloon Dog by Jeff Koons.

A backlit mirror adds atmospheric light to the entryway.

In the master bedroom, a headboard feature wall provides atmospheric bedroom lighting. A bedroom pendant light and a matching bedside table lamp deliver focussed light.

A comfortable bedroom chair, a small side table, and a modern bookstand make up an inviting reading nook by the window.

A potted olive tree adds a decorative touch and a splash of greenery.

In another double bedroom design, a black upholstered bed contrasts darkly with a white area rug. A split headboard focal wall treatment features rich wood panelling and crisp white tile.

The white bedroom rug complements a wall of white wardrobes.

A simple white modern wall sconce and a black pendnant light provide reading light over the pillows. See more ideas for bedroom pendant lights.

Inside the luxury bathroom, the shower area and bathtub are separated from the rest of the space by a black-framed glass screen.

A row of small skylights spill sunlight onto the freestanding bathtub. A vertical garden wall makes a lush, tropical backdrop for the soaking area.

Two unique bathroom sinks elevate the double vanity unit design. Two racetrack-shaped bathroom mirrors are lit around their edges to create a moody aesthetic. Perimeter lighting adds to the subtle glow.

Matt black fixtures and fittings complement deep grey stucco walls and rich wood tone panelling.

The final bedroom in the home is a simple white minimalist scheme with a black tufted bed.

Fitted wardrobes build a wall of clean white storage.

A walk in wardrobe is fitted with a sleek system of illuminated garment shelves and rails.

A partition wall divides the closet into two areas. In the second space, a built-in vanity unit is teamed with a plush white vanity chair.

Large windows light up the dressing room.

The final bathroom design is a crisp grey and white space with a modern double sink bathroom vanity. Fresh white towels nest underneath.

A tinted glass enclosure houses the shower. A wall hung toilet leaves the floor area clear and spacious.

An anthracite heated towel rail blends with the large format grey wall tiles.

The same large grey tiles cover the floor to achieve a cohesive scheme.

The impressive home also boasts its own sauna room.

LED strip lights install a soft lighting scheme in the relaxation space.

A view of the garden gives the sauna room and extra special dose of serenity.

The adjoining shower space is clad in matching sauna-like wood wall panelling. Wall hooks create convenient hanging space for fluffy white robes.
