Five Houses, by Weber Arquitectos, combines the feeling of being surrounded by lush vegetation with accessibility to modern amenities. These contemporary homes are located between the center of Valle de Bravo and a local golf club. It is also an easy day trip to an area where you can see monarch butterflies.
The architects worked with the landscape to the greatest degree possible, removing few trees and accommodating the sloping terrain. As a result, the homes’ open spaces are immersed in its environment. Each house includes a living area and terrace split by a glass wall that slides back to open up the space. They each also have two interior courtyards the provide an outdoor pass-through to various rooms.
Avant-garde style translates well to an open, comfortable atmosphere within this project. The connection with outdoor space welcomes visitors. Meanwhile, the casual vibe created by light colors and low-key furniture pieces allows hosts and their guests to relax. [Photography by Rafael Gamo and information courtesy of Weber Arquitectos]
