Located in the posh Notting Hill neighborhood in London, the concept of this recently renovated single family home is a nod to a modern mews house. Designed by Guy Stansfeld Architects, this 3,500 square foot home was recently refinished by Maddux Creative to enhance the lateral space and innovate energy use.
The three bedroom house capitalizes on its generous square footage with a wide, sweeping floor plan, including a bespoke kitchen and dining room. All floors, including the rooftop terrace garden and basement cellar, are connected by a centralized concrete and glass stairwell. This allows the house to fully expand in all directions on each level. The home environment control is centralized, regulated through a Creston System with Leax lighting.
This house utilizes cutting edge technology to be mindful of environmental impact and to incorporate small touches of luxury throughout the home. The cellar includes a subterranean wine bar and tasting room, while the top floor has a relaxing private roof garden. The master bedroom suite has an attached dressing room. Both guest bedrooms are en-suite, while the main floor hosts a double garage.
